Injectables
Dr. Krever offers a full range of cosmetic dermal injectables and fillers. Among them are BOTOX Cosmetic, which targets over-activity in facial muscles that causes dynamic wrinkling, as well as Juvederm and Restylane which restore fullness to areas of lost volume and deeply set wrinkles and folds. Dr. Krever can ultimately help you decide which treatments are right for you.

Laser Rejuvenation
Gentle resurfacing is achieved using a dual mode pulsed Erbium laser which ablates the outer layers of the skin at precisely controlled depths. These “peels” are offered at customized levels to meet your individual goals for skin rejuvenation. The treatment is safe and effective for dull skin, uneven pigmentation, textural problems, sun damage and fine lines. Known as the MicroLaserPeel, the procedure is performed with simple topical anesthesia and involves a short period of healing afterward. An added benefit of the MicroLaserPeel over other peels is that it promotes long term collagen remodeling, particularly when combined with additional laser and light modalities such as SkinTyte, ThermaScan and ProFractional. These additional procedures help enhance overall skin appearance and are very effective for a wide range of concerns such as skin laxity, acne scarring and certain hyperpigmentation conditions. There are many other laser treatment options for issues with acne, scarring, and much more, for you and Dr. Krever to discuss..
Photorejuvenation/BroadBand Light Treatments (BBL )
Otherwise known as “Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)”, the BBL system is ideal for treating conditions like hyperpigmentation, rosacea, acne, vascular lesions, port-wine stains, and reduction of fine lines. BBL also promotes collagen remodeling. There is little, or no down time with this treatment. This procedure can also be combined with an application of Levulan for enhanced treatment of resistant acne or sun damage. Optimal results are a series of 4-6 treatments.

Laser Hair Removal
Controlled flashes of light penetrate the skin, which are absorbed by hair follicles, and the heat from the light destroys the potential for hair re-growth. Whether a 1064nd:yag laser, or with the BBL light system, Dr. Krever will help you decide which services are best your skin. Dr. Krever uses only the latest technologically advanced lasers, and all are FDA approved for permanent hair reduction. The number of treatments may vary, depending on hair color and coarseness.

Leg Vein Treatments
The cosmetic treatment of unsightly veins can be varied. For instance, some veins may require laser treatment, surgical treatment, or injection sclerotherapy (the injection of material to destroy the vein). Dr. Krever will prescribe the correct treatment for your condition. Laser and BBL treatments are an effective treatment for spider veins, small varicose veins, and more. The heat source coagulates the blood and destroys the vein. After a short time, the vein will be absorbed and disappear. The number of treatments vary, depending on the size of the veins.

Facial Vascular Lesions
Vascular lesions of the face such as “broken capillaries,” red birthmarks or persistent blushing from Rosacea can be effectively treated with laser and light therapy. Both laser and BBL procedures can be used and Dr. Krever will prescribe the appropriate modality for you. The number of treatments needed to achieve the desired result may vary.

Skin Tightening
New advances in light energy have taken noninvasive treatment of skin laxity for toning and tightening to new heights, and are safer than ever before. Dr Krever utilizes an infrared light energy source with surface skin cooling technology to deliver heat deep within the skin’s dermis to stimulate collagen contraction and remodeling. This results in tissue tightening and reduced skin laxity which develops over the weeks following the treatment. The most popular areas to treat are the lower face and abdomen. The number of treatments varies, but optimal results are usually seen in a series of 3, spaced 2-4 weeks apart.
